Photos – 100th Year Anniversary Dinner
RQAC’s 100th year anniversary dinner was a celebration of our country’s rich aviation history. Once the sun went down, the hanger doors opened and crowd came in. With a Mustang, Spitfire and two jets parked around the tables the ambiance in hanger 5 was superb.
Past Event – Kids Fun Flight
On Saturday 27th July, RQAC partnered with Fun Flight to run a charity event for children in the community facing adversity. There was a free sausage sizzle, face painting and a bouncy castle!

2018 Battle of Britain Dawn Patrol – Sunday 16 September
The 2018 Battle of Britain dawn patrol was held on Sunday 16th September and we had the highest number of participating aircraft for over 3 years. It was also the first time in many years a twin participated.

June 1928, huge crowds gathered in Brisbane to greet the crew of the Southern Cross as they completed the first trans-Pacific flight, an 83-hour epic completed in three stages.
We are on the Move to our new home in Building 25 Archerfield Airport
Queensland Aero Club held its first meeting in August of last year and those in attendance were members of the Royal Queensland Aero Club and other people with an interest in aviation. The meeting was held in the hangar of Flying Fighters with Mr. Steve Hart as our gracious host.
